LSA Roaring 20s

Since we are in the middle of learning about the 1920’s, we had a culminating event to celebrate the roaring 20’s. For this event, all of the students were encouraged to wear something that would have been worn during the 20’s. The high school building was set up to have food that came out in the 20’s along with some of the projects from what they have been studying. In the sanctuary, the students learned how to do the “Charleston”, a popular dance during that time. Finally, the whole school did a room-to-room walk so that every class could see all the amazing work other classes had done during the first nine weeks. This event was a great way to build relationships within the school and make learning about the 20’s even more fun.
